What strategies do you employ to advance the discipline of design? (100 words max)
What impact does your organisation have on the discipline of design? (100 words max)
What are you hoping to gain from your membership? (100 words max)
What is your organisation’s definition of design?
What are the principal aims and activities of your organisation? Examples include: the professional interests of designers, the interests of industry/commerce, government or public concerns regarding design, etc. If an explanatory document is available, please provide same.
How is your organisation financed? Examples include: members’ fees, subscriptions, donatons, grants, by industry, by the government, etc. Please provide a general description, listing what percentage of your budget comes from various sources.
How is your organisation governed? Examples include: by a council, election by members, general assembly, period/term of office, etc. If an explanatory document is available, please provide same.
Please list the names and titles of persons responsible for the direction of your organisation. This could include the board of directors, executive council members, etc.
Please list and describe any other organisations in your country which are directly concerned with design.
What are the principal publications and documents published or sponsored by your organisation? Examples include: Code of Practice, Schedules of Fees and Service, Conditions of Contract, etc.). Note that upon being granted membership in ico-D, one copy of each document published by your organisation should be sent for record purposes to the ico-D Secretariat. Revised editions or additional documents should be sent to the Secretariat within one month of publication date.
