ico-D is pleased to announce that the ico-D Annual General Meeting (AGM2018) will take place in Beijing China, on 19 September 2018 at 15:30.   

The AGM2018 will be held in conjunction with the Beijing Platform Meeting. They will both be hosted by ico-D Member Central Academy of Fine Arts of China - CAFA and held at the CAFA Campus in Beijing. 

The AGM2018 and the Platform Meeting are a chance to connect with fellow Members, share best practices, network, have your voice heard and share knowledge.

    The AGM2018 will address governance issues such as the consideration of the income and expenditure account and the balance sheet, the reports of the Council and of the Auditors, and the appointment and the fixing of the remuneration of the Auditors. 

    As a Member, you will receive the full AGM Report, including the Audit Committee Report, the ico-D Treasurer’s Report and the 2017 Financial Report to review for approval on or before 19 August 2018. As per the bylaw amendments of the 27GA, you will also be asked to ratify the Minutes of previous general meetings — in this case the 27GA Minutes and of the 2017EGM Minutes— you may download these via the side bar of this bulletin.

    We hope that all ico-D Members in good standing will take advantage of this opportunity to participate in the governance of your organisation. The AGM and the Platforms are a chance to connect with your fellow Members, have your voice heard and share knowledge.

    ico-D Members can register for the Beijing 2018 Platform Meeting and the AGM2018 via the online Registration site. Registrations will close on 17 August 2018.

    The AGM is a Members-only Meeting, however Members of the ico-D Community and Friends of ico-D or IDMN Members may attend the Platform Meeting but need an invitation from the ico-D President to attend.

    You may submit a request for invitation here. Requests will be processed based on space availability. An email confirmation will be sent to you.

    The Room Rate is 550 RMB (for a double or single room, the rate is the same). This includes breakfast and wifi.

    Many participants will need a Visa to travel to China. If you require an Invitation Letter to apply for a Visa, you must request it via the on-line Member Registration site (for ico-D Members) or via the Community Registration site (for Observers). You will be asked to supply:

    — full name (as it appears in your passport)
    — gender
    — birth date
    — country and number of passport
    — date of issue of passport
    — expiration date of passport
    — dates of travel
    — name of your organisation
    — your title within the organisation


    Please note that the Letter of Invitation must be issued by the Chinese host to be valid. We cannot process letter requests without all this information.
