The programme is released for the Professional Platform Meeting and can be downloaded here.

“There is overarching agreement (93%) for the need to introduce ‘more effective methods to determine, measure and convey the value of design.’” (Professional Member Survey, 2014)

The programme reflects the recent Professional Member Survey results, which indicated the need for in-depth discussion on how to enhance community, engagement and unity within the profession and among designers.  The programme will include presentations, panel discussions and open forums in which all attendees will be able to actively participate.

"It is fascinating to note commonalities shared by seemingly very different entities."
(Professional Member Survey, 2014)

The Icograda Professional Member Platform Meeting will take place on 25-26 October 2014 in New York, hosted by AIGA and conducted at Parsons The New School for Design.

Attendance at the meeting is free of charge for Icograda members. Participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Members are also reminded to register for the Annual General Meeting taking place on the morning of 25 October also at Parsons in New York. It will address important issues such as the renaming of the Council.

About Icograda Platforms

At the 25 General Assembly (November 2013, Montreal), Icograda established three member-category ‘Platforms’ with the aim of enhancing member involvement in Icograda projects and activities. By addressing cross-disciplinary, professional and organizational challenges, as well as focusing on specific discipline issues happening within Educational, Professional and Promotional ‘Platforms’, the Annual Platform Meetings were conceived of with the goal of increasing member involvement in determining Icograda policies, benefits and strategy.
