International schools invited to display free booth at Young Designers' Exhibition
Taipei (Taiwan - Chinese Taipei) - Taiwan Design Center is offering one free exhibition booth (2mx3m) per international education institution to participate in the Young Designers' Exhibition (YODEX). Every May, YODEX offers top design courses from across Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) and abroad the opportunity to meet with industry employers, buyers, the media, trend predictors, students and a design-hungry public.
Interested institutions should complete the application form and send it along with a proposal before 15 March 2012. The proposal should include exhibit contents, pictures of items to be exhibited, and proposed booth design.
YODEX 2012 is an exciting mix of promising young designers and sponsors exhibiting under the same roof. Now in its 31 year, YODEX takes place over four days, at two exhibition halls, with a grand opening ceremony and a high profile award event. It is an event full of innovation and fresh thinking.
Established in 1982, YODEX has become one of the largest design fairs of its kind, featuring fresh, new design talent, and excellent works by graduates from design colleges around the world. YODEX 2011 had generated tremendous enthusiasm among new designers and the public, boasting 133 participating design colleges, 163 press releases, and more than 95 000 visitors during the 4-day exhibition. The event was warmly received by visitors, participants, and the press.
