Unmatched in terms of integrity and diversity, the annual ASDA aims to elevate the region's high achieving undergraduate design students, apprentices and graduates by recognising their outstanding designs.

    Brussels (Belgium) - Six outstanding marketing campaigns by students from across Europe have won awards from Sappi Fine Paper Europe's programme Ideas that Matter. For more than ten years, Sappi has supported graphic designers and the non-profit sector with its Ideas That Matter programme.

    Montréal (Canada) – Istanbul, Turkey, has been unveiled by the International Design Alliance (IDA) as the host city of the 2013 IDA Congress. The city was selected unanimously by the IDA Executive Committee based on the strength of its bid, led by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) during an international competitive bid process.

    Montreal (Canada) - The Icograda Executive Board will meet in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 19-20 February 2011. The meeting marks the first occasion for the international board to meet in Argentina since 1996. It is being hosted by the Centro Metropolitano de Diseno (CMD) which was inaugurated at the Buenos Aires International Design Festival in October 2010.

    Montreal (Canada) - Icograda is pleased to welcome Borislav Alexandrov of Bulgaria as the newest Friend. Icograda Friends are a worldwide network of individuals and corporations who share a common interest in communication design. Borislav is the second Friend and member in his country to join the network.

    Paris (France) - The 2011 edition of Poster for Tomorrow, the Icograda-endorsed competition, has selected the right to education for all - irrespective of gender, religion or handicap - as its theme. Incredibly 121 million children worldwide are not in primary school. The Call for Entries opens 10 March 2011.
