Full-time faculty position: Lecturer in Graphic Design

The School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for full-time Lecturers, in the area of graphic design for a teaching focused appointment beginning August 16, 2016. This appointment requires service for one nine-month academic year, with the possibility of an extension beyond the first year.


Qualifications for Graphic Design

Terminal degree (MFA, MDes or equivalent) in Graphic Design and some undergraduate graphic design teaching experience is required. Graphic design instructional experience beyond a teaching assistant position is preferred. Candidate should possess a demonstrated record of professional accomplishments and be in dialogue with contemporary design discourse, particularly as it relates to practice or pedagogy.
