Registration


ico-D Members can register for the Beijing 2018 Platform Meeting and the AGM2018 via the online Registration site. Registrations will close on 17 August 2018.

The AGM is a Members-only Meeting, however Members of the ico-D Community and Friends of ico-D or IDMN Members may attend the Platform Meeting but need an invitation from the ico-D President to attend.

You may submit a request for invitation here. Requests will be processed based on space availability. An email confirmation will be sent to you. 

For Members who cannot attend the 2018AGM, we urge you to assign a proxy through the Proxy Registrationsite to ensure your voice is heard. 

 

 


Accommodation


Limited-time special offers for participant accommodation have been secured at the Holiday Inn Express Beijing Wangjing.

This hotel is the recommended choice after carefully considering several factors, in order to offer: security, moderate price, proximity to venue, convenient location, etc.

If you do choose to book with this hotel, the Event's Host, Central Academy of Fine Arts of China, had kindly offered their services in making the arrangements. You make request a reservation via the online accommodation online form by 14 August 2018.

Please note that in order to make a request you must provide:

— date of check-in/ check-out
— type of room (double or twin)
— the name of the person booking
— if you need it to appear in the reservation the name of the second person in the booking
— your credit card information

The Room Rate is 550 RMB (for a double or single room, the rate is the same). This includes breakfast and wifi.

We encourage all attendees to book as soon as possible as reservations are made on a first-come first-served basis.


 


Visas


Many participants will need a Visa to travel to China. If you require an Invitation Letter to apply for a Visa, you must request it via the on-line Member Registration site (for ico-D Members) or via the Community Registration site (for Observers). You will be asked to supply:

— full name (as it appears in your passport)
— gender
— birth date
— country and number of passport
— date of issue of passport
— expiration date of passport
— dates of travel
— name of your organisation
— your title within the organisation

 

Please note that the Letter of Invitation must be issued by the Chinese host to be valid. We cannot process letter requests without all this information.
