ICOGRADA ENDORSES 'GOLDEN BEE 6' MOSCOW BIENNIAL

Brussels (Belgium) - The Golden Bee 6 Moscow International Biennial of Graphic Design will promote the achievements of designers from Russia and around the world.
Brussels (Belgium) - The Golden Bee 6 Moscow International Biennial of Graphic Design has received Icograda's endorsement.* The event will promote the achievements of designers from Russia and around the world, and elevate the status of graphic design on both a cultural and professional level. 'Expo-Park Exhibition projects' Company is organising the biennial in collaboration with the Academy of Graphic Design (AGD), Golden Bee Association and numerous public and private cultural institutions in Russia and Europe. Golden Bee 6 will be held in Moscow at Central Artists Hall on 1-10 September 2004.

Participants in the Golden Bee competition may submit an unlimited number of works in the following categories:
1. Posters - any posters produced in 2000-2004.
2. Typography - any projects in which typography is the basis of the design.
3. Student Design - any educational projects in the field of graphic design, including multimedia.
4. 'Antiterror' - any project that addresses this theme.
Winning entries will be awarded in a special ceremony and published in the biennial catalogue. There is no participation fee and the entry deadline is 31 May 2004.

In addition to the Golden Bee awards ceremony and exhibition, the biennial programme will consist of student workshops, lectures, a 'Design and Polygraphy' exhibition and other design events in Moscow museums and galleries.
