ICOGRADA ENDORSES TRAVEL SOUVENIR DESIGN COMPETITION 2005, KOREA

Brussels (Belgium) - Icograda endorses the International Travel Souvenir Design Competition 2005, which will explore and showcase designs that represent the rich culture and tourist attractions of the Gyeonggi Province, Korea.
Brussels (Belgium) - The International Travel Souvenir Design Competition 2005 has received Icograda's endorsement.* Organised by the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization (GTO), the event will explore and showcase designs that represent the rich culture and tourist attractions of the Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Applications are now being accepted and the competition will end in April 2005 to coincide with "Visit Gyeonggi Year 2005."

Following the theme 'The Power of Beauty,' the competition aims to elevate the quality of travel souvenirs and to build a tourism industry network for creating, marketing and merchandising tourism designs. Submitted works will be judged based on uniqueness and creativity, cultural aspect and international appeal, and the potential for enduring popularity and commercialisation.

Designers from all over the world may apply as an individual or a group, and each applicant can submit up to three designs. Award-winning designs will be exhibited with best-selling souvenirs from around the world and will be included in the competition catalogue. The official languages of the competition are Korean and English.
