Madrid (Spain) - On 23 June, the Madrid Designers' Association (DIMAD) will inaugurate the exhibition Cartographic. Madrid Draws at the Central de Diseño, Matadero Madrid. Taking place during Straight to Business: Icograda Design Week in Madrid 2010, all delegates are invited to attend.

The aim of the exhibition is to expose the strength of graphic design in Madrid through an alive and open forum, with the creation of maps representing the interconnectedness of designers and their projects in all areas: communication, illustration, architecture, urban, web and animation design.

Cartographic. Madrid Draws will be a very original exhibition because of the unique collaborative structure, involving around 500 designers. Five designers each nominated five other designers, who in turn nominated five more designers, and so on, until the connections constructed a map of 500 designers. This living project truly draws a map of the reality of Madrid's graphic design in a transversal and fluid way.
