Prague's DOX Center for Contemporary Art showcases nine female graphic designers

Prague (Czech Republic) - From 29 April - 31 May, the work of nine Czech female graphic designers will on display at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art exhibition, entitled 9 Me, As a Graphic Designer.
Prague (Czech Republic) - From 29 April - 31 May, the work of nine Czech female graphic designers will on display at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art exhibition, entitled 9 Me, As a Graphic Designer. The exhibition brings together nine individual approaches to graphic design. Or are some similarities to be found, after all?

The participating designers are:

  • Zuzana Lehutová
  • Věra Marešová
  • Marta Maštálková
  • Iva Návojská Pechmanová
  • Adéla Svobodová
  • Barbora Toman Tylová

The exhibition has been organised by Věra Marešová, a graduate of the Department of Graphic Design and Visual Communication at the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague. Věra specialises in corporate identity, and, since 2008, has been a freelance graphic designer for Czech Television. In 2005, she won the Czech National Design Award for the logo and corporate identity for the City of Brno, and has had commissions for the Ministry of Transport and the Ekofilm International Festival.
