CANNES DESIGN LIONS SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED

Cannes (France) - Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival has just released the shortlist for the newly launched category, Design Lions. Close to 140 entries from around the world were selected for the shortlist in this category, each of which will receive a certificate.
Cannes (France) - Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival has just released the shortlist for the newly launched category, Design Lions. Close to 140 entries from around the world were selected for the shortlist in this category, each of which will receive a certificate.

The Design Lions celebrate the creative use of design as a lever to influence consumers, and its use as an aid to the communication of brand and product messages. Entries will be awarded for their Creativity, Originality, Execution and the level of Consumer Engagement. The three major Design Lions categories are Corporate or Brand Identity, Packaging Design and Environmental Design.

From the shortlist, the Judges will award one Grand Prix winner and a Design Lions award for each category. One Network of the Year Award will be given to the agency network that obtains the highest score for entries in the Film, Press, Outdoor, Radio, Media, Cyber, Direct, Promo, Design, Titanium and Integrated sections.
